A photographer's eye applied to interior architecture.
Maxime De Campenaere is an interior architect based in Brussels. His work is rooted in the practice of photography and a sustained attention to cinema, two disciplines that share with interior architecture the same central obsession: the composition of light, the weight of materials, the construction of atmosphere.
Trained at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Brussels, he founded his studio in 2005. Since then, the work has grown across residential, hospitality, retail and workspace projects, in Belgium and in Paris, with one constant: every space is conceived as an image, built from its light sources to its finest details.
The studio brings together a team of designers and project managers, committed to each project from first sketch to final handover.
Every project begins with close listening. The studio accompanies its clients from first sketch to final handover, across Belgium and in Paris.
Maxime De Campenaere is an interior architect and photographer. His travel photographs are at the heart of his practice — assembled and combined, they become palettes of colour and atmosphere from which each project takes shape. Some are printed large and placed within the spaces they inspired, establishing a silent dialogue between image and place.

Ieva Karkle works alongside Maxime De Campenaere as interior architect and project manager. She oversees each project from design to completion, with a rigour and sensitivity to detail that ensures coherence between the initial vision and the finished space.
Based in Paris, Andréa Maury oversees our Parisian projects. Trained in interior architecture, she combines attention to detail with a thorough understanding of construction. After two years at the studio in Brussels, she naturally continued her collaboration from Paris. Her discreet but decisive presence is a guarantee of confidence for our clients and partners.
