In a building undergoing transformation, we designed a structured and refined work environment that reflects the high-end identity of E-Maprod, a renowned real estate developer based in Brussels.
Our interior architecture studio was commissioned by E-Maprod, a renowned real estate developer based in Brussels, to completely rethink a 700 sqm floor within one of their commercial buildings. The scope included the design of the shared entrance hall for all tenant companies, a public-facing showroom, shared meeting rooms, a fitness area, and the entire first floor dedicated to the internal E-Maprod team. The objective: to create a high-end, sustainable work environment aligned with today’s evolving professional practices.
The project reflects E-Maprod’s identity, rooted in the ambition to offer spaces that are both durable, refined, and highly functional. The interior design strikes a balance between noble and raw materials: birch plywood paneling, coated concrete-style banquettes, and exposed brick walls in the gym. This architectural vocabulary is softened by mirrored walls that visually expand the space, curved circulation paths that bring fluidity, and full-height glazed partitions that maximize natural light and open up new perspectives throughout the building.
Outside, the building’s facade was enhanced with a contemporary metalwork cladding, giving a strong identity to the entrance. This interplay between structural robustness and subtle detailing captures the spirit of the project: a carefully crafted interior design, conceived with precision to meet the standards of a high-end professional environment in Brussels.
Integrating a gym within an office space required specific technical solutions, including anti-vibration systems to ensure acoustic comfort for other occupants. The meeting rooms are equipped with integrated audio and video systems that blend seamlessly into the overall design and material palette.
The project also had to contend with a complex construction context: some floors were already in use, others still under renovation. This required a high level of agility, with phased construction schedules and the careful reintegration of existing technical systems—particularly the HVAC installations—into a new, contemporary setting without compromising functionality. This pragmatic yet design-driven approach allowed us to transform an existing building into a coherent, efficient, and forward-thinking workspace, fully aligned with the principles of the New Ways of Working.
