‘Design is about more than aesthetics; it's about capturing a story, your story, through shapes, colours and materials, just as a photograph captures a moment.’Maxime De Campenaere
For this orthodontic clinic in Brussels, Studio Maxime de Campenaere conducted an in-depth analysis of the space’s technical and functional needs, crafting a sleek yet soothing design to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.

A palette of natural, calming tones—from soft beige to deep green—flows through the different areas of the clinic, which includes a reception, waiting room, three consultation rooms, a sterilization area, and a radiology room. Each space is carefully designed to balance functionality with refined aesthetics.

Durability and ease of maintenance were key in the material selection. Stainless steel doors and storage units add a contemporary edge, while green marble opus insertum flooring lends a timeless elegance. In the waiting room, wood paneling extends from the reception desk, bringing warmth and intimacy to the space. Textured glass screens positioned in front of the windows maintain patient privacy while allowing natural light to filter through.

Breaking away from the cold, impersonal feel of traditional clinics, this design embraces soft curves and tactile materials to create a serene and sophisticated ambiance. The result is an enhanced patient experience in a setting where well-being meets elegance.
