Metal origami

This printer wanted reception and meeting space for both teams and customers who sometimes had to spend whole days there to sort out some calibration and production issues.

The project revolves around a large 5,5 meter long meeting table that looks like a bar. It was visually treated like an origami of metal whose clean joints mark its silhouette.
The floor tiles, created by Mutina, also imitate the folds of a fully unfolded origami.
